P.R.Crofts and Son is made up of father and son duo, Peter and Stuart Crofts.  We take great pride in our 100 year plus heritage and continue to build and progress in an ever changing world almost all by word-of-mouth recommendations

Our skilled worked is something we also take pride in and this has assured our continued success. Many skills have been passed down through the generations and many traditional methods are still used by us today, times have changed though and where necessary our tools have been modernised. However the basis of a professional job still lies with its base foundation work, that's why you will find sandpaper, scrapers and preparation tools in our hands for a longer period than the brush.  This remains a commitment to us, as preparation is the key to any job, it is the longest and in most peoples minds the hardest and dirtiest part of the job, unfortunately this is why it is so often neglected.  To us it is the beginning to a professional job.

Our customers cover a narrow band with almost all of our work carried out in private residences.  Occasionally we will carry out work to new build houses but this is strictly on a one house basis, we do not undertake site work of any description, nor do we subcontract for other companies, we like to think this keeps us special and stay on the right tracks.  When a customer asks for P.R.Crofts and Son to carry out a job for them that is exactly who they will get, we do not employ other decorators.

We work with the latest paint systems to provide a superior finish and can supply colour shade cards for most popular brands.  Our preferred choice is Dulux Trade and we can offer over 2000 colours to co-ordinate or contrast with your surroundings, in matt, sheen, silk, eggshell, satinwood and gloss.

We believe our prices are very competitive and help contribute to our successfulness.  The saying 'You get what you pay for' still rings true, however we maintain our lower prices but still offer a first-class job because we want you to return to us.
